I am a Data Scientist and a Full Stack Developer. I have been academically active in the area of Data Science for around 2 years as a Graduate Student at UT Dallas, and 2.5+ years as a Data Scientist Intern at Autodesk and Software Engineer at SmartAnalyst. I am also an avid reader and learner in the field of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning and Cloud Computing. Coming from a diverse background including Bachelors in Chemical Engineering to a Masters in Computer Science has given me a unique perspective in the world of Data Science. Besides, I am passionate about developing world class Web Applications and designing Virtual and Augmented Reality games as my Interactive Computing coursework at UT Dallas.
Prior to joining UT Dallas in 2016, I worked for SmartAnalyst for 2 years. SmartAnalyst helps life science companies bridge the gap between R&D and Commercial Success. I worked primarily for Strategic Decision Analytics and Health Economics team. I had the privilege to engage with board meetings with our clients and developing Platform Solutions including SMARTForecasting and Portfolio Optimization. I deployed agile and cross-functional projects that were responsive to client needs. I collaborated with Business Analysts and Data Scientists to help bio-pharmaceutical companies make key decisions at the Disease, Asset and Portfolio levels.
During my Graduate studies, I was fortunate to work for Autodesk as a Data Scientist Intern for 3 months.
Autodesk is a computer software company that makes software for the architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing and entertainment industries. I worked primarily for Monitoring Services Team developing a serverless web application for Alerts Suppression and released across HelpHub globally. I had the privilege to showcase my tool to Senior Leadership at Autodesk. I collaborated with Solution Architect and AWS Monitoring Engineer to help ServiceNow teams work on relevant incidents received from machine learning tool. This resulted in reducing 200+ man hours and increasing operational efficiency upto 25%.
Further, I worked as a Web Developer at Medicento for 6 months. Medicento is a healthcare start-up in pharmaceutical space building up an unified channel for seamless flow of pharmaceutical products using data driven approach. I worked primarily for developing web and android application for their smart AI based inventory management system, that would segregate products based on the demand of the market thus decreasing stock in period and generating better revenues. I collaborated with potential developers to work on features like Live ordering system, Easy returns, Hassle free payments and Live tracking, a secured two-way authenticated delivery of products.
